Description :
One of the most beautiful onion dome from Tarentaise.
Visible from a great distance, perched on a forest spur above the village, Landry's church indicates with infinitely charm the entrance of the valley of Ponturin.
Reconstructed in 1687, dedicated to Saint Michel, it contains a remarkable beam of glory and very flowered vaults paintings.
It offers St Michel's beautiful fresco painted outside above the hall.
The old cemetery which surrounds the church is full of charm. A new cemetery was below opened.
Circuit guided, " On the tracks of the Savoyard traders " : on Fridays, 15 and July 22nd and Friday, August 12th, leave on the track of the Savoyard traders of XVII century and discover the baroque churches of Bellentre and Landry.
Meeting at 3 pm in front of the church of Bellentre. Lenght : 2:30 hours.
Also visit the church in free access from June 15th till September 20th, every day from 3 pm till 6 pm, except on Sunday.
